How My 10-Year-Old and ChatGPT Taught Me a Piano Lesson

My 10-year-old started learning piano and you’d think he might get a private lesson from me, but nope! He’s using the exact same course I teach everyone else 😂.

The other day, he asked me to print out the chords to his new favorite song: Shukul Shukul.

I didn’t know the song, and I couldn’t find a chord sheet online.

So I did something that I thought would get the job done quickly: I asked ChatGPT for the chords, printed them out and handed them to my son.

A little while later, I heard him playing and singing.

Something sounded off.

I thought maybe he was singing in the wrong key, or playing the chords in the wrong spots.

But actually, it turned out that the chords ChatGPT gave me were completely wrong 😳.

So I (finally) listened to a recording of the song and figured out the right chords. And at last, it sounded like Shukul Shukul 😊.
